I hate the people on tumblr that say "PoC" when they mean "black", like when they say they want more "PoC representation" in anime when, you know, anime tends to be full of Asian people.

So, I "retaliate" by refusing to headcanon anyone as black, even if they're described as having dark skin in canon. I'll headcanon them as being of other non-white races, but I refuse to headcanon them as black.

I don't mean to, and I don't want to, but some little part of my brain is always logging my SOs' emotional reactions to things and working out how I could emotionally manipulate them if I had to.

It's been a really nice summer here so far and I've spent most of it indoors. There's nothing physically wrong with me. I'm fairly healthy mentally. And it's probably going to be the last long vacation I get for awhile. I just like to spend time inside, whether it's working out, watching movies, reading, or talking. The only time I go out is to do some shopping.

I'm a feminist. I think it's pointless and slightly insulting to use Western feminist beliefs in regards to what is and isn't sexist in Manga/anime. How women are treated in Japan is different from the west. Something that would be seen as 'negative' by western standards may very well be progressive for their culture (Sailor Moon, for example)

I pretty much always assume people on the internet are exaggerating or lying about 1. the severity of their chosen mental illness and 2. their level of financial depravity.

Whenever the dreamwidth captcha gives me something like:

"How many colors in this list? Cow, moon, spoon, blue, dish, dog.", I, being an idiot, type "blue". And then I get angry because it gives me something like "Type three million, fifty-seven thousand, four hundred and twelve as a number" and those are the worst.

When I was a kid me and my friend watched power rangers despite his supremely over protective parents not wanting him to. Well one day were playing power rangers and I'm the pink ranger and he was Zedd and whirling a broom handle around and broke his arm. We told his parents the neighbor hood bully kid did it and they forced his parents to put him in military school under threat of them civilly suing them into the ground. (they were the rich dicks in the area of the little town we lived in) and it ate at me for over 15 years till one day I was in the local grocery store and saw him. Turns out when he went to military school his dad didn't have him to be a punching bag when drunk and ended up in prison for ten years for drunkenly attacking his wife with a knife. The mom won the house and what little they had in the divorce and married a guy who worked on the local military base and is still happily married in a higher tax bracket. When he was in military school he grew to like it and is currently about to leave the military and marry a woman he met on one of his deployments.

I guess the question is how the fuck did one lie cause two peoples lives to get better?

While I'm glad my former boss is gone, I sometimes worry about her. It was clear in the end she had some serious issues and I really hope she took the hint and got some help. Sadly, I don't think that's what happened.

I can only have sexual fantasies when I imagine myself a man, in a relationship with another man. I have no similar preference for porn.

I'm otherwise comfortable with being female, so not entirely sure what this all means.

I hate having to pretend to be interested in other people's children.

I don't like kids. Never have. I don't care about what your child did today and how cute it was, the same way I suspect you don't want to hear about the cute thing my cat did today either. Which is why I don't go around sharing it with everyone, yet somehow when it's a kid you're expected to listen and go 'awww.'

In fact I feel like there should be a general etiquette rule that says you don't just go around sharing stories about your kids/pets at the drop of a hat unless the other person specifically expresses interest in hearing about them.
