How is it going?

My day started out bad with a migraine that woke me up at 3 AM. Went to work but ended up coming home at noon on account of said headache. Good thing I did because it turned out to be an allergic reaction to this new lotion I've been using. I had to go to the urgent care when I started having trouble breathing and my inhaler wasn't helping.

Feeling better now, though. Just woke up from a 3 hour nap.

I'm seeing the pediatric rheumatologist tomorrow. I have basically no clue what she's going to think my problem is, or what the exam is going to be like, so that's kind of scary. On the other hand, if she can give us a condition name, or even just a way to deal with the symptoms, that will be very good.

I went to the bank and had dinner and now I'm finishing up my playthrough of Quake 1 and the expansions.

Sounds fun. I really need to do dinner as I haven't eaten anything today. I'm not really hungry, though. Probably will end up just eating popcorn.

I finally got around to seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. It was very fun. A really solid action movie. I enjoyed it very much. So that was pretty nice.

Regretting I had some onion rings at A&W earlier.

Quick backstory on that: I've been having some abdominal problems for the last couple of months now, and after finally going to see my doctor, after some tests, he deduced it could be an issue related to my liver. I had my gallbladder taken out back in '08, and while he suspects it could be scar tissue or something else with it (ultrasound+blood work came back 'unremarkable'/normal. Not getting a CT scan yet if I can help it), I suspect it could be diet related, so I've been seriously cutting back on fatty foods, as foods high in fat have been making me feel really nauseous lately. If nothing changes over the next month or so, I'll p. be going to see the surgeon-type doctor he referred to me

The free root beer float, however, was delicious and totally worth it.

I had to put another cat to sleep. She was 17, mostly sleeping, barely eating, had an inoperable cancer growth that caused her to bleed from her mouth and she couldn't close her one eye. She couldn't see and her sense of smelling was dwindling.

Oh I'm glad you're feeling better, having your inhaler not work is damn scary.

I temporarily moved back in with my mum while my house gets essential maintenance and to cut a long story short I've recently had OCD added to my list of mental health issues and even though I know she's just trying to look out for me I'm feeling smothered by her and distressed about the downward spiral I've been on since I moved in and I don't know what to do. I just want to go home (and to stop feeling guilty about not thinking of here as 'home' any more)

Holy shit, that's one serious reaction to lotion... How terrifying. It's a good thing you got to the hospital when you did! Glad you're okay now.

I'm kind of upset because my mother isn't taking care of herself and won't listen when anyone expresses concern for her, but at this point it isn't anything unusual and I need to try to stop stressing over it so much. Oh, and I had to loan my brother some money to fix his truck, so I hope it gets fixed this time.

Had a job interview early-for-me yesterday morning (think I did okay, but also think I'm not what they're looking for) that messed with my sleep patterns, so I slept a lot of today away. Just got back from shopping for dinner ingredients, and in a couple hours I'm going to whip up a pasta carbonara.

Welp....my day has been...uh ..kinda mixed.

On the negative side....last night my grandmother died and I'm still kinda emotionally numb about that. I feel kinda bad about that like "aren't I supposed to be crying? I just feel kinda numb about it" . Last night I felt worse, not crying but this feeling like I can't ever be cheerful about things. Like I should be crying.

On the bright side I got an interview tomorrow. Here's hoping it goes well. Also I got ten bucks for babysitting my sis for a long time. Which is kinda nice.

Wow, what on earth was in that lotion? Glad you're feeling better now.

I've just been getting the clothes that I need for a wedding I'm going to this Saturday sorted, and deciding if I should wear a different pair of shoes so that I don't scrape my ankles raw on the day.

I just broke my diet to eat an entire plate of pancakes because my university (from which I graduated in spring) just now told me there was a "glitch" and I'm actually 3 credits short of getting Latin honors with graduation.
