Proved it? One fictional character is not a statistically significant sample.

I get that you probably inserted it as a buzzword to rile people up, but where does it state in the game that she has an anxiety disorder?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 11:20 pm (UTC)(link)
no where. i'm surprised OP didn't say sara had autism since that seems like it's the more common theory.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)
It doesn't say so directly, but a ton of people on Tumblr have latched onto her as a poster child for anxiety and/or autism. Her stans are pretty nuts with the self-identifying.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 11:32 pm (UTC)(link)
so she's become a fandom poster child like sheldon and tina belcher.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 11:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Fuck you with a rubber hose asshole.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 12:35 am (UTC)(link)
You seem put out.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-08 11:55 pm (UTC)(link)
I know, I understand you completely, but I can't help but roll my eyes every time I see a "lol I'm glad that dumb bitch got killed she was so useless lol."
Even if she's fictional, she's still a disabled, sheltered 14 year old who died a pretty gruesome death.
It just kinda sickens me that so many people are celebrating over it.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 09:39 am (UTC)(link)
The attitude of "the weak should die" as opposed to "as a community we should protect the weak because they are human too" is pretty gross to me.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 09:51 am (UTC)(link)
THIS. If we are to celebrate such an attitude, we might as well add the swastika to the flag and stick the old and disabled in a gas chamber.

bro how did you godwin yourself already, it's been like, 5 comments

(Anonymous) 2014-08-14 06:52 pm (UTC)(link)
jesus christ, this so much. what the fuck makes people think this is a cool edgy opinion to have?

She was a liability, yes, but I still feel sorry for her. I can't tell for certain that she had or not some kind of mental disability, but It wasn't her fault that her father sheltered her to that point.

I felt sorry for her; I think she reacted in an incredibly realistic way to what was happening around her.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 04:02 am (UTC)(link)
I felt sorry for her in the beginning but by episode 3 I was completely done with her when she ended up getting Reggie killed.

So yeah, I left her behind too and I didn't feel bad about it either. It's a zombie apocalypse, you either pull your shit together or you die.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 10:00 am (UTC)(link)
Just as well then. A society that's fallen back into a state of survival of the fittest sounds a lot like Hell on Earth to me. May the fittest enjoy it to the last drop.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 01:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Well... yeah. It is. That's the point of a zombie apocalypse.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 07:30 pm (UTC)(link)
You clearly missed my thinly concealed 'burn in Hell'.

Her actions were endangering the rest of the group. Better that one person die than an entire group who would have been able to survive otherwise.

She didn't get Reggie killed tho. That's silly, of all the things you could pin on her. I didn't love her either, but pay better attention jeez! You missed something really important.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-10 12:27 am (UTC)(link)
what? yes she did. no matter what option you choose, the work won't get finished, and carver will get mad and push reggie off the roof. yeah, carver probably used it as an excuse to off reggie, but the fact still remains that sarah's actions (or rather lack of action) led to his death.

I agree and I was amused a bit by the many comments on youtube playthroughs about WHY WHY YOU BASTARDS if you choose to "kill her" earlier. I understand the moment of it but in the long run she was not raised for that world and since she was pushed into the chaos of it all abruptly, she couldn't cope with it in enough time if she ever could. What did people expect?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 10:44 am (UTC)(link)
Low empathy quotient much?

(Anonymous) 2014-08-09 05:39 pm (UTC)(link)
Exactly. I feel like they all totally ignored Jane's story about her sister and how it was actually crueler to force her to keep going in a world she wasn't suited for.
