Okay, can I get some background on why people (or maybe it's just this one anon) keep hating on otakugal? I can't recall any controversial incidents involving her at all, am I missing something?

The dish bar wank sticks out most, but really she overreacts to a lot of things and isn't particularly pleasant and that makes very prone to being trolled.

I'm assuming they're referencing the "soap bar" wank. Okay so you know the soap holder in many bathtub stalls, which usually has a hole that looks like it could be a handle. Well, it's not actually a handle. Otakugal made a post in GC complaining about how she had used the soap bar handle to pull herself up out of the tub (or stabilize herself, or something), and ended up breaking the whole thing off.

Cue massive, massive wank and mockery. Like, massively out of proportion to what had actually happened. Man, people are serious about their soap bar holders, is all I can say. It resulted in a lot of "Otakugal y you so stupid?" type comments and I think she's still getting anon mocking from that post even though I'm fairly certain this happened well over a year ago by now. (F!S never forgets!)

More to the point, she was really furious at her landlord blaming her for the incident.

I think it's just because she's kind of unpleasant in a theatrical, immature way. She also doesn't seem to be able to handle criticism of any children's cartoon she likes and is okay with calling people "cunts" over it.

AYRT here. Sorry for late reply, but I forgot to check my messages before this. It's a fair question that you ask, and it deserves a good answer, so I'm doing the lateposting thing. Here's a rundown of the stuff I remember that gives otakugal her reputation.

-As far back as LJ she has reacted to things she doesn't like with anger out of proportion to the provocation. I remember an MLP secret that she thought was about her and/or her friends (turned out not to be) and she angrily shared personal details about the wank, thus bringing it over to FS and basically derailing the secret thread.
-She's very... aggressive towards people she considers to be SJWs, and not a very good judge of what makes an SJW. This is mostly what makes me think the secret was made by her. I didn't just bring her up to troll or hate on her, it really does sound like her style.
-She once got into a tussle with an actual SJW on here who was rather infamous. You may remember curseangel. Otakugal was involved in a huge wank caused/perpetuated by curseangel, after which curseangel left. Otakugal then crowed about her "victory" for quite a while after that, which I found extremely obnoxious, not to mention egotistical.
-She regularly says "I have no sympathy for _______" and fills in the blank with inane, harmless, and/or very sympathetic things. Most recently she was extremely rude in the thread of a secret about how someone had stopped writing fic because someone else had gotten to them. I have a link for this one because it amazed me so much I bookmarked the thread. There's more that I can't remember the details for, but you get the idea. I get why people remember the soap handle wank, it was bizarre and entertaining, but she's had A Reputation since long before that and it's pretty well deserved.
