The results are often kinda hilarious, and character building. Especially when one or both down right refuse. But sometimes it's sad to, like this one "imagine your otp" that was meant to be really adorable, but the two characters that sprung to mind, well, the thing in the prompt would only happen if one of them was dead.
And yes, these things have actually contributed enough to enhance a story I will work on.

Like, if one of my otps were walking down the beach, it's possible that one of them was doing it under threat or was guilt-tripped into doing so. And it'll be a rather chilling walk down that beach, with maybe Tokyo threatening to implode around them.
This is a fun thought-candy, thanks for the idea :33

(Anonymous) 2014-08-13 02:09 pm (UTC)(link)See, that's great. That's really great, that someone somewhere is getting something real out of these things.
I guess what bugs me most is that people are flinging these prompts around fandoms where they are wildly OOC for the OTP in question, as if they are somehow deep and meaningful. You cannot just copy and paste (usually extremely cheesy) sentiment over a character and have it mean something.

(Anonymous) 2014-08-13 02:10 pm (UTC)(link)Just wanted to clarify that there was zero sarcasm (I know it's difficult to tell). I'm genuinely psyched that someone out there is getting something out of the imagine prompts.
