I do - but also sort of wrong.

Because it's a blatant lie? I can make a secret, too, about a mysterious celebrity who tried to woo me with pizza and money, but I turned down for whatever reason.

A real secret would be dropping hints or coming right out and saying it. That's the whole, you know, thing about secret confessions.

I was actually thinking Toby Keith, just because "Brought to You Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue" is the most obnoxiously conservative song I've heard on the radio. ("Have You Forgotten" by Darryl Worley is more self-righteous, but less blaringly stupid.)

You know what, OP? I think you're actually a really decent human being for not telling on him, despite what others here say. You probably could have made a nice buck selling the story to the tabloids, or just enjoyed spreading gossip on the Internet - but you didn't. I respect that.

Yup. Like yeah I like it when hypocritical conservatives get called out, but... obviously these people are so full of self-loathing and I think not wanting to be the person to drag their inner conflict out in public is a decent thing.
