Every character has stans somewhere. Lysa's deranged, she's gonna get sympathy from people who have a soft spot for crazy people.

it's not about stans. It's about a certain type of SJW that will basically not acknowledge a woman can rape a man in any situation.

This. I'm not a huge fan of Lysa, but she's a pretty damn tragic character. What happened to her does not make any of the stuff she did fine and dandy, but it does give insight on why she did it.

I don't know about "stans", but I know a lot of people who find her an interesting character deserving of sympathy, and a character they enjoy writing/reading about. Personally I don't see the appeal, but I feel that way about a lot of characters.
