I don't know about "stans", but I know a lot of people who find her an interesting character deserving of sympathy, and a character they enjoy writing/reading about. Personally I don't see the appeal, but I feel that way about a lot of characters.

lol OH HI. I RECOGNIZE MY TUMBLR LAYOUT. I should have known someone from my F_S fanclub was trying to bait me.

So let me explain myself.

I wasn't interested in getting into that debate at that moment so I didn't continue the conversation there.

I was doing one of those "give me 5 characters and I'll rank them in terms of preference thing" and someone gave my Petyr. I ranked him pretty low and then said that I did not like Littlefinger because of what he did to Lysa.

End of.

I wasn't speaking to anything that Lysa did to him. That was irrelevant to my dislike of Littlefinger. (eta: Littlefinger's manipulation of Lysa is only one reason I dislike him. It's not the only reason, but it's the one I gave in that brief one sentence explanation of why I ranked him where I did.)

Then someone sent me that message and I honestly wasn't clear on what happened in the incident that anon was referring to because it'd been so long since I read that part of the books.

BUT SURE. I'M JUST A SJW WHO THINKS THAT WOMEN CAN NEVER RAPE MEN. KEEP ON KEEPING ON, FANDOM SECRETS.

I am pretty disgusted with all of the Tumblr!born mouth breathers claiming that men can't be raped. This power + privilege bullshit excuse to justifyoywfahflko9s No. You know what, forget it. Even if you're loljoking, you guys are sick. Every single one of you selfish shitty excuses for humanity, and every one of you who silently agrees with the notion. And a big ol' fuck you to the eople who think men CAN be raped, but it's less important, less traumatic, less anything. Oh, and that they can only be raped by other men! I will pass that along to my little brother. I'm sure he'd love to read up on how his stolen virginity doesn't matter, because all that power and privilege absorbed his trauma like a sponge. Hopefully my family can be reimbursed for the near decade of therapy.

My god I'm sick of people throwing the word rape around willy nilly. You're making it lose all meaning and therfore making people take it less seriously. Do you think Littlefinger was traumatised by what Lysa did? Do you think he resented the loss of his virtue? Calling that rape is a gross exaggeration.
