Whoooo!
We rescued a kitten last Friday! I got a Capstar from our local cat rescue place, though - she was *so* infested with fleas, baths were not going to cut it.

What's she look like? How old? Where'd you find her? We found ours across the street, I could hear her crying. She's a black and white tuxedo kitty, 12 weeks according to the vet.

I think she might have been our neighbor's? But obviously they did not want her! We deflead her and then the next day she was limping. Soooo, we decided to take her.

And here she is. Not sure how old she is yet. Taking her to the vet next week.

Awww!
She's so pretty. Poor thing - i hate when people just abandon animals.

I did a one-pass flea comb through our kitty's fur and a *teeming mass* of fleas was in it so it was straight into the bathroom for quarantine with her until we could get to the vet. We got lucky - she only had fleas, no intestinal parasites or ear mites, yay.

Just have to get her spayed.

My daughter has wanted 'her own' kitten for ages, so when i brought her inside, she was all 'We're keeping her!!' So she named her 'Diana' after the kitty in Sailor Moon.
