Weekend Plans

What is everyone doing?

I will be taking care of the little kitten we rescued. One more flea bath should do it. She looks much better! And on Sunday, I have to go to a family dinner. I hope it isn't too terrible.

What about you all?

I was going to go to another city and walk around their farmer's market. I'm not sure now. Mother Nature punched me in the uterus today and my gut is killing me and I feel like hissing at everything that moves.

On the other hand, exercise lessens menstrual pain. So yeah, I'll probably hit up the farmer's market.

Right now I'm working through insomnia listening to some classical music. This weekend I have huge and terrifying deadlines to tackle, and some big life decisions to make. I'm pretty scared.

I have to work 7:30am to 3:30pm tomorrow but then I am going to my first ever yoga class. A co-worker wants to go and I'm mildly interested so I decided it couldn't hurt to try it out when this place lets you have a no strings 'first class free' deal.

Seeing Guardians of the Galaxy. With a friend, possibly, but if she fails to return my calls for the second weekend in a row I'm going without her. Walking, either in the park or on the treadmill depending on if it keeps raining, and if I walk on the treadmill I'll be watching a crapload of Haven to finish my full-series rewatch before the new season starts next month. I'll also be working on my massive Haven fanfic, which I know I'm not going to complete even the first draft of before the new season starts but which I want to get as far on as possible before new canon starts muddling my ideas.

I hope to be meet up with a friend tomorrow evening who is in town for GenCon. Otherwise the biggest item I am going to is get my bangs trimmed (never do them yourself, learned that one pretty quickly!). On Sunday there is a glass festival north of town. I've never been and I have no idea what to expect. I also don't know if I get there but it's something to think about!

And I keep saying I'm going to see "Guardians of the Galaxy". I still haven't seen it!

My city is one of the ones targeted in this stupid purge thing and everyone around here is losing their collective shit so I think I'm going to spend the weekend at home. (Which is fine, I probably would've anyway; it just annoys me that I feel like I have to.) It's not that I'm worried about the "purge" so much as I am idiots with guns just looking for an excuse to shoot someone.

People are such fucking dumbasses.

I am happy the kitten is doing better! And I hope your family dinner will be bearable!

I dunno, might have to take a trip to the A&E tomorrow if my knee doesn't stop hurting... I was planning on going out if one of my friends are back home, but dunno? Other than that, play a copious amount of F12013 as there are no race before the next weekend and I miss watching them!

I spent today not crying and actually managed to make myself kind of happy and even smile for the first time in a few days by blowing off everything and everyone to do a cosplay photoshoot by myself in my back yard. I had a great time, I look gorgeous, and everyone who has contributed to the hellish past few days can bite me.

Watching baseball now, may go to karaoke when that's done, thinking about going to the ren faire across the state tomorrow, where I may be able to catch up with and/or run into people who don't make me physically ill.

Going back home after a week at the beach with my mother and sister and her kids. Also a cousin of mine. It's been a great week. but I am looking forward to sleeping in my own bed.

That's really nice that you're taking care of a cat. How do you mean by rescued? Off the street or some a pound?

Hmm, last weekend before graduate school so I'm hanging with friends one day. They are staying for dinner. The next day will be interesting. I'm going to celebrate my brother's belated birthday with him. It will be interesting because we're mostly cordial with each other.
