(Anonymous) 2014-08-30 08:44 pm (UTC)(link)I liked it, although now I have to wonder how much if it was the same reason I liked Rent so much - I was twenty and I loved the idea of someone snubbing *authority* and being *unique.* I still think Wicked's good concept, I still love the musical, and I still really like Rent, but I don't think any of them were the pure genius I thought they were when I was twenty and protesting The Man and all that.
