Re: Best Character Chemistry
Sheppard and McKay from SGA were incredible together, and so were Kirk and Spock (and McCoy) from Star Trek: TOS. Peter and Nathan's (Heroes) relationship is very...intense, maybe not in the way it should have been, but it was definitely interesting and the actors had great chemistry. Other than that...Xena and Gabrielle (for obvious reasons), Scott and Stiles from TW (Posey and Dylan are just adorable together; no acting required), and Raylan and Boyd (Justified) should always be in the same scenes together. Also Rachel and Tim, though those two usually are.
Oh! House and Wilson, too. The show wasn't consistently good (in later seasons), but Hugh and RSL were always great fun and acted their hearts out.
And because you mention familial relationships, I think of Kurt and Burt from Glee. The show might have been a mess, but they got that relationship right. (Same with Teen Wolf and Stiles and Sheriff Stilinski. Melissa and Scott are great too. <3)
Last but not least, anything with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. They always have the best friendships in films, but I also ship the hell out of them in everything as well.
