Typed up the class schedules for 2 of my 3 school libraries and made the blank template for the third, which is the new to me school this year. I'll be meeting with the teachers on Wed. to set up their schedule; school starts for the kids on Thur. I then created a master schedule with all three schools in it (the above were one school per page) and colour coded so I can tell at a glance which school I'm at on which day (its the same every week, but it's a bit different from last year, so...).

After that, I started putting events into the monthly calendars I made in excel last night, again colour coding my days as I did for my master schedule. I'm listing what's going on at each school each day. I think it will be easier than flipping through three different calenders (never mind the horrible layout of the staff calendar from my largest school). I'll print these out for my work binder--it'll let me see at a glance what is upcoming and I can pencil in any changes. It's a lot of work, but I know that I'm going to need to be super organised going between three schools...

Such a fun way to spend one of my last summer vacation days. But I do feel accomplished.
