Patience is a virtue, after all.

I'm not attacking anyone or anything, I'm just seeing things from my experience. I could have a completely different outlook on the whole scenario than yourself.

Not trying to get up in anyone's internet grills or anything. I do apologize if I have offended in any manner.

No, not offended, just kind of HUH!? at your estimating of your speed. I know like three or four people that have apped there (with perfectly fine apps, too -- it's not like theirs is actually detailed or anything) and lost interest because the mods responded so slowly.

All I can say to that is that, perhaps, they got tied up? It can be that it fell during a particularly difficult time at school and with many applications flowing, perhaps it just took them a bit to look through? Not sure. The answers, they do not come.

Again, I didn't intend on making this a bitter fest or anything. Just giving my own experience on everything.

Patience may be a virtue, but when the mods ask a clarifying question, the person applying replies the SAME DAY, and doesn't get a response for over a week? That's a little ridiculous and rude in my opinion.

Oh, honestly. The mods aren't attached to their computers 24/7. There are going to be times when they're too busy! Every game goes through this! People have lives!

You had to wait for your application to be approved/denied? Oh, you poor thing. You know, I think two weeks is actually pretty reasonable for a game that big.

The point is that responsible people get other people to take care of things while they're gone/while they know they will be gone.

Stop and listen to yourself. You want mods to make their first priority a game? It isn't just about lives, it's about priority. That's how it goes in the world of role-playing, so sorry. Game SHOULD come second to EVERYTHING ELSE.

Jesus fucking Christ. If you're that cirtical about the application process, maybe you would be kind to note the moderators have separate divisions on who does what. Not only that, we've had some moderators take some personal hiatuses before in the span of the months I've been there.

ARE YOU SERIOUS? Are you seriously going to piss and MOAN about that? Can you read at ALL? Because maybe, JUST MAYBE, I'm blind, but CLEARLY it states the moderators have different job titles. MAYBE THAT'S JUST ME.

That's something I never understood. The players aren't allowed to go on hiatuses for longer than a month yet the mods are? The players shouldn't go on repeated hiatuses back to back after a few weeks in between yet the mods are?

I mean. Really. I'm trying to comprehend your logic here of "WOE APPLICATIONS TAKE TOO LOONG ;;" but I can't, considering the size of this game. THE SIZE.

Six people who have lives. Six people have separate divisional JOBS. Should there be people to approve applications? Maybe. But should there be so much WHINING over it? Absolutely fucking not. The mods are not around 24/7, suck it up and get over it. A week and a half is FAST for the size of this game. There are over 100 members. GET OVER IT.

It takes two mods' agreement to take action on an app. We could do it unilaterally, but then there would be complaints (even among ourselves) about partiality and the lack of accountability.
