Fwiw I agree with you, OP.

There are actual honest to god Neo-Nazis on tumblr, yet people always decide to complain about SJWs instead. I also wish I had a dollar for every time a post made by an obvious troll account gets cited as proof that "the tumblr hivemind" wants all cishet white men dead.

i personally follow misandry-mermaid (though i don't agree with a lot of her posts), ask-an-mra-anything and manslator as some examples and i've seen every single one of them call out neo-nazi blogs and white supremacists in general. every anti-sjw blog i see is either an mra blog (and lets be real, they ONLY reblog feminist posts to try and argue them) or it's a weird trolly 4chan blog and those never refute anything

so i'm saying from experience i have never seen any anti-sjw/"egalitarian" person or blog focus on anything other than screeching about how ~sjws are ruining their animes and shit

i'd actually feel a lot better if you or somebody else would show me that anti-sjw people still do care about social justice and do call out neo-nazis, rapists, etc. because i never see it happen and have no reason thusly to believe it does.

I'll try to explain this in a way that I hope makes sense.

I hate Neo-Nazis. Hate them with every fiber of my being. I would gladly purge the Earth of their ideology with fire and salt.

But you know why SJWs bother me more? Because I CARE about social justice. It's something that's important to me, that I think is worth fighting for. And to see it perverted by some assholes mean having to watch a thing I love twisted. THAT's why I get more annoyed at SJWs -- because they're taking something I love and making it into something I hate.

For me, it's the fact that I just can't take Neo-Nazis seriously. I understand that their beliefs are serious, but their beliefs are so obviously ridiculous that I know it's not even worth the effort to engage them and every reasonable person should realize this as well.

With SJWs, I feel like they actively have the ability to cause harm to important movements with their extremism.

I don't give a shit if Nazis make themselves look like imbeciles (which they do so with frequency) and trying to reason with them is utterly pointless.

With Neo-Nazis, it's fucking obvious that they're bad. "Kill the Jews" and "destroy all non-whites" are so obviously batshit that it's not possible to engage them and you're better off just blocking them. Like, where would you even start?

But then you have SJWs who say things like "Racism is bad" but then go on to include bullshit like "white people are scum" and there's this horrible dichotomy of knowing that you agree with the first part, but hating that those idiots have tied it to the second part. And you recognize that they have the ability to drive away potential allies with that stupid second half.

You know what just occurred to me?

Everybody is always saying that SJWs are way too sensitive, seeing an -ism in everything, whiny, little cry-babies. But it's the exact same people that complain about being called scum on the internet.

I'm white, I'm as white as they come. I've never in my life have been discriminated against based on my race. No one has ever made an assumption about me based on my race, I've never been denied anything because of my race, I've never been insulted based on my race. So if I read a white girl joke on tumblr or a white people are scum post on tumblr, I could easily choose to ignore it. Because as a white person I always have the option to turn the computer off, to visit another website or to simply blog the offending user or post and I'd literally never have to hear a joke or insult about my race ever again.

Look, I deeply care about fandom. Fandom is my refuge from life. I spend way more time thinking about fandom than I would consider healthy.

BUT I also care about real life people. So yeah someone attacking even my favorite fandom doesn't make them worse than someone who actually supports genocide. Not the "kill all men"-philosophy that people think tumblr is promoting, but the about 6 million dead Jews and about 11 million other dead real life people type of genocide.

Here, let me try an analogy to hopefully explain.

Neo-Nazis are literal piles of shit that are on the verge of exploding and could hurt people. The thing is, though, they generally stay in their own spaces and, until they explode, are easy to avoid. And because we literally can't do anything about them (freedom of speech in the US, at least, includes what a lot of European nations would consider hate speech), we just avoid them. No one's saying that they aren't giant steam piles of excrement. Just that, because we can't do anything about them, we avoid them. Unless we have evidence of an imminent attack, we're stuck with those piles of shit.

SJWs are like some asshole adding jalapeños into a cake you're trying to bake. As bad as a giant pile of potentially explosive shit? No, of course not, and no one would say so. But there's no way to AVOID this fucking asshole because he's in your house and keeps ruining something you're TRYING to enjoy (your fucking cake).

That's why SJWs get more hate.
