Exactly. If she was a man, the pandering and victimizing the show does to her would probably cause an uproar big enough to end the show.

Other person is sort of right though, at least for me. I do probably hate her more for being a woman but because of the double standard, not misogyny. I hate her doubly because she's able to get away with it and have what she is outright denied because of her gender.

It's part of it for me at least. I suspect there are others who hate her more for the same reason, but I can't speak for everyone. I've seen the gender double standard brought up in multiple discussions other people have had about why they hate Regina.

Try to use more complex thought here. You've broke it down to such simple terms it takes away the point of what I was saying in a poor attempt to make me look like a misogynist. Because, as you say, Regina has a vagina it's pushed under the rug and treated like no big deal that she's a rapist.

Think of it like this. A cop kills an innocent person but because it's a cop that did it, it's brushed over. Can you honestly say that the fact that, because of what the murderer was, what they did was overlooked when it wouldn't have been if the person wasn't a cop, wouldn't make you hate that person more than a murderer who was treated like a murderer?

I hate Regina but don't hate Rumple for three reasons:

1. Rumple thinks he's a monster and hates himself. Regina thinks her shit doesn't stink.

2. The show tells us that Rumple is a villain who isn't to be trusted. It also tells us that Regina is a poor woobie baby who should get everything that she wants because she's SUFFERED. No one else has ever SUFFERED like Regina. Oh how she SUFFERS.

3. When Rumple does something horrible, the universe kicks his ass to punish him. When Regina does something horrible, she gets rewarded.

The pandering pisses me off more than the character herself. She's an asshole. So's Rumple. Only one of them ever has to pay for it and it's not her.

Why was she crying in "Evil Queen"?

Because she cries about everything. She cried after she murdered Graham too. Regina cries like normal people breathe. It's another sign of her endless self pity.

And didn't (Belle) take his word when he said he didn't kill Zelena?

As far as she knows, she's holding his dagger which gives her power over him, and she's commanded him not to kill Zelena. And she still looks seriously suspicious of him when Zelena is found dead. So, no, I don't think she took his word for it.

You said "When Regina does something horrible, she gets rewarded." How is having the wife of the man she's fallen in love with coming back a reward? Isn't that something horrible she did coming back to punish her?

Considering that the entire town is wailing "Oh poor Regina! Marian is back and ruining her life!"? And everyone is bending over backwards to make sure she gets her happy ending? That's barely a bump in the road, hardly a punishment.

To summarize:

Rumple is an asshole: His son dies. The entire town hates him. He has a wife who loves him but is suspicious of him.

Regina is an asshole: She gets light magic and True Love's Kiss with the son she abused. Everyone in town kisses her ass, especially Emma and Snow (the two people she's hurt most). Her boyfriend of one week is now torn in his affections because his former wife (who was murdered by Regina) is back from the dead.

Even the most ardent Regina stan must be able to see the difference.
