I am not annoyed by fandom these days, but I think that there was a certain charm to active communities. The speed at which materials (pictures, fic, art) gets disseminated into the internet has tripled however there is very few bastions of human interaction. I love Fandom Secrets for the fact that I can still technically have fandom social hour. Tumblr is hard to keep track of and I don't consider it a real hub of socialization. I am sure that there are still fandom wars, they are just easily forgotten.
