I'd love to play more games like Journey, with a focus on world exploration, story and atmosphere. But not like ICO, which I bought because people told me it was similar to Journey, and couldn't stand (thanks largely due to the clunky combat, which made the game too tense and frustrating).

Well can't speak for the multiplayer for Journey, also I've never played Journey, but from what I've read about it, Proteus, Dear Esther, and possibly Fez might be up your alley, though Fez does have a lot of platforming to it.
