But that's not what the secret's about. Nobody says you have to LIKE characters who do bad things. The referenced tumblr post is drawing a very logical distinction between quality of writing/characterization and quality of the character's morality. The OP is literally saying "fuck that" because they choose to judge characters on how they behave. Which is fine, except that this is only one way in which to assess a character, and it completely neglects to assess the writing... which is what the tumblr post is talking about.
