You know what's funny? It was in the past week, I remember being embarassed by it, but I don't remember the details beyond saying something stupid that I really should have known better about and I got corrected by someone who knows I know better.

The village of Arlington Heights' sole source of income is pulling people over for speeding, and they give no fucks about who they pull over. So one bright autumn morning Officer Skinhead pulled me over because my car was supposedly going 90. It couldn't even do 65 without rattling itself to pieces, so I dunno what the fuck.

That's about the extent of it though.

I like that he's evolved from being the archetypal jerkass with anger issues in JL International to a more rounded, three-dimensional character with flaws (big ones) but a sense of bravado that's absent in most superheroes, and that bravado is a bit more subdued than it is in similar characters. He's an all-around tough guy who genuinely cares about his friends and colleagues, believes in what he's doing (and likes it too) he has some surprising soft spots. And he's not afraid to speak his mind to the big guys like Batman and Superman, even if he does get a punch in the face for it sometimes.

Also he's funny.

Video games. I've a stack of games I've bought -- physical copies -- that I have yet to actually play.

I also collect TPBs of creator-owned comics (i.e. not DC or Marvel's superhero stuff) that I enjoy.
