Rabies, HPV, Hepatitis, Measles. But you should really have all of your vaccinations up to date.


If you're that much of a tool who doesn't understand biology, I'll put it in terms you can understand: all of the above are incurable, can potentially kill you, and could endanger the lives of anyone who might be exposed to them through you.

Vaccination is not an insurance for your personal health, it's insurance for your health and for the people you might potentially infect even though you could be asymptomatic. God damn, people like you make me incredibly angry.

Er. Not OP, but I was under the impression that the rabies vaccine isn't recommended for anyone except people who work with lots of wildlife or are otherwise at high risk for exposure. It's the scary one delivered via honking huge needle to the stomach, right? And no guarantee that it'll save you either.

Yeah, rabies vaccine is typically only administered if you have an occupation that places you at high risk for exposure, or if you were recently bitten by an animal who has rabies or who is suspected of having rabies.

It's not put into the stomach anymore, though. You get several doses (over the course of a couple of weeks) in the arm or leg. You might still get rabies after getting the vaccine, but you're a hell of a lot less likely to, and you're almost guaranteed a painful death if you actually do get rabies, so...
