Inspired by the Fantasia secret.

Can anyone think of any characters who are supposed to be beautiful or sexy, who aren't thin (or have big boobs and hips, but a tiny waist)? Or female love interests for a character, who aren't thin?

I don't just mean "any female protagonist" or "any overweight character who isn't a joke." Specifically someone who is supposed to be beautiful or sexy, or is thought of as beautiful/sexy by some other character.

(of course, I have to mention this comic the same day as the punchline of the comic on the frontpage is a fat joke, but in the comic's defense, the two characters are probably the least sympathetic ones in the whole comic)

Callie Torres from Grey's Anatomy. She isn't really large, but she is curvy and is sexy and knows it and is confident in her body. I love that.

Esmeralda from Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame wasn't fat by any means, but she wasn't skinny or scrawny.

She's not a fictional character, but Miranda Lambert is gorgeous and she's not thin.

A lot of classical artwork features women who aren't skinny.

Esmeralda was totally skinny. She may have been strong (dragging an unconscious man out of the water when he was originally wearing armor ain't easy) but yes, still skinny.

Adele? I know lots of people who think she's gorgeous. I remember there was a poll in Esquire where a lot of guys voted her sexiest woman alive.

Samantha Wright had a fan following for a while, and while she's petite she's built. Nowhere near "waifish."

Wasn't Marilyn Monroe (did I spell that right?) the equivalent of a size 8 or 10 today? I thought I heard that, don't know if it's true. Obviously not large, but not skinny either.

She may not be a sex symbol per se, but I was always very attracted to Queen Latifah.

She's definitely not fat (115 lbs at 5'2), but Ange from Tales of Innocence is subject to a few jokes about her tendency to overeat. She's also considered quite attractive in-universe. (For comparison, main love interest Iria is 117 lbs at 5'5, and the other characters hardly ever talk her up as beautiful.)

Not exactly a character, but does Serra Angel count? My Dad had the statue. She's very, very fit, but has little in the way of actual curves (on the original, at least). I think, at about 6, she was probably the first 'person' I heard adults call sexy.

Lwaxana Troi. Very sexy lady who most definitely didn't have a tiny waist. She wasn't fat, and she always dressed to her very best advantage, but she wasn't thin either.
