Yes.

Then again, when you work in the system on a daily basis you actually get to appreciate the reality of things then a once off anecdote of your personal perception of what happened without understanding any of the background.

That's not to say every single police officer ever is perfect, but hell the same is true of doctors, and they're orders of magnitude more likely to kill me through incompetence then boydem ever would be.

I wouldn't say I fully trust or distrust the police, but I agree that I'd trust doctors less.

A cop has to go out of their way to be an asshole or hurt you; a cop that's only bad at their job probably won't hurt you any more than you already were hurt; they'll fail to assist you. Yes, some cops are racist murderers but I believe those cops were people who were already "looking for an excuse" more than not.

A doctor could be well meaning but simply be bad at their job or minorly negligent and you end up dead or with massive complications.

You also don't live in the US, and can't apply your experiences to the people here who do live in the US and have to deal with an increasingly militarized police force.

I've highlighted an important part of your statement for you. Doctors may be more likely to kill you, but that's not true of the rest of us. Pull your head out of your ass.
