you say that like "funny haha," but one of the first things you learn as a Disney cast member is that any idea you come up with during your employment there is automatically theirs. It's in the contract, or was when I was there in the late 90s-early 00s.
To wit, I was having lunch with a fellow CM one day, having a private conversation about how no one was coming to our area any more because there was only one real attraction open there at the time (it was during an extensive parkwide reimagining and a lot was closed for refurb)and it was kind of aged, so we were throwing around ideas to throw at entertainment to spice up the place and get people to venture our way and 6 weeks later, they introduced our idea, without our knowledge, without giving us credit. Turns out there was an imagineer eating near us and he eavesdropped and took the idea. Fuckers.

I'm confused about the fear. What's the worst that will happen if you say this to them? I know some terrible things can happen on tumblr but I don't know why you would be following the sort of person you thought would do them. And if you're not following them then why can't you just ignore the post like people do with every other ridiculous thing people say unless it's something that could get them called a SJW?

That being said - if that's what our friend is saying, the song MIGHT be channeling some emotions or self-realization.

In short: liking the song doesn't make you trans, but your friend might like it because the are coming to the realization the might be trans.

sort of related, but the other day on tumblr I saw this "trans positive shang" meme based on the fact that he doesn't question mulan for not being the burliest of manly men or w/e and I was just like...did everyone forget that he totally shunned her once he found out she was a woman, even after she proved her manly competence. it was the central conflict after defeating the huns. I feel like that particular message would've worked better if you had used anyone else but shang.
