I disagree. I don't think everything she does is for him. They just share the same goals. I think that was made obvious in the Ishval arc.

Agreed, it's kind of like how people think Castiel does everything for Dean whereas it's more like they share very important ideals and while Dean might have inspired Cas to be who he really was on the outside, he would have been the person he was with out him.

That's a good example. It's the reason I can't stand D/C fic or meta. Every time someone says "Castiel rebelled for Dean", I want to ask them if they watched the show.

In their defense, he did say to Dean, and I quote, "I killed two angels this week. My brothers. I'm hunted. I rebelled and I did it all - all of it - for you. And you failed. You and your brother destroyed the world. And I lost everything for nothing. So keep your opinions to yourself.".

So, to be fair, somebody could ask you the same thing.

That's what I got out of it. That they're both burdened by their wrong doings and the only path they can see is to make sure the future doesn't repeat the past. Riza thinks Roy's the one capable of that job.

As well as the fact that they both care deeply for each other.

I think it's writing a lot off to say Riza just serves Roy.
