I'm more likely to buy a DVD. I know most people are the same. A digital copy has the problem of if your computer crashes, it's lost because they only come with limited-time download codes. If you lose the DVD, it's your fault or a natural disaster happened that would take out the computer, too, most likely.

Pirating, since I'm poor, lets me know if it's something I'll like enough to watch again. I can't afford to waste my money on something I won't like.

But it's sadly not a source. :c

This does make perfect sense, though I was looking for actual stats rather than anecdotal evidence. Still, thank you :) And as I have mentioned to the nonnie above, I'm not even beginning to judge anyone - that would be a bit hard, too, considering the fact that I've pirated gigabytes upon gigabytes of content throughout my life XD
