I love Alistair more than is probably healthy (he's still my favorite BioWare romance), but I love the other characters too much to only romance him. The Zevran romance was an awesome experience, and Leliana is sweet too. I have, oddly enough, missed him a bit when I was romancing other characters, but I got over it.

I never married him though, because I didn't care for the human origin stories. I just left him as a warden and he and my adorable dwarves stayed together. He didn't seem to want to be King... I don't regret choosing that. (Er, despite... Changing that in the keep on a few playthroughs, but honestly, I still like the idea of keeping him as a warden.)
