Pie. Totally pie. Every year for my birthday as a kid my mother would make strawberry rhubarb pie. Which is my favorite desert in spite of the fact that I'm a super chocoholic. But I'm not a big fan of cake. Pie is the best.

If you must go for cake, mousse cake is the way to go.

I think it would be fairly hard to find rhubarb around here. I think I saw frozen rhubarb somewhere once, but it was not at a market where I live now. I've always wanted to try it, and it's my friend's favorite pie (he is from New Hampshire).
