...They did get someone fired, and they have spread misinformation that lead to an innocent family getting hate messages- and those are just two of the incidents that I can think up off the top of my head.

I mean, I get what you're saying, but I feel like you're vastly underestimating how bad shit can go down, especially with websites like tumblr that make spreading information easy, and correcting misinformation hard.

DA. Some others include a WOC accused of "blackface." She got a lot of hate for being "racist" and a lot of people boycotted her store.

They tried to boycott Five Nights at Freddy's creator for being pro-life when he hadn't taken any such stance

These things happen all the time, and those are some of the bigger ones.
In one of my fandoms, someone tried to put up one of those "hey, watch out for ___ they're abusive" with no proof simply based on grudgewanking. There's also a longstanding history of the SJWs in fandom being anti-semetic, homophobic, racist and downright transphobic.

There was also a post (I don't have it handy, it grossed me out too much) which called out feminists for slagging Harvey Milk for not being progressive enough. That's right, gay rights activist from an earlier decade who got KILLED FOR HIS SEXUALITY was just another evil one of the "white gays."

You wanna hate life? Check the transmisandry tag on tumblr where feminists try and bully tans men into dysphoria and suicide because they're 'shitlord oppressors' or something.

I'm not against equality or a MRA or anything, but touting this as progressive is fucked up.

Harvey Milk's killing had almost nothing to do with his sexuality, unless you think George Moscone was in the closet. It was because a guy had a nervous breakdown about local politics and did an awful thing.
