I love most of the characters in HP but realising that you don't care for anyone in a book makes it very rough going. I remember feeling that way when we did A Streetcar Named Desire at school. I didn't give a shit about any of them. At least in the film you've got Marlon Brando and Vivien Leigh's pretty faces to look at but reading the play was a hard slog by the end. I just wanted them all to die.
