Haven't seen Big Hero 6 but I definitely agree with you, OP.

I'd also like to see more female characters lacking in empathy/social skills, and it's not portrayed as a character flaw that desperately needs fixing. Like sometimes there will be, say, a highly intellectual woman who's really cold but then you find out what she really wants is babies or something. Whereas anti-social dudes are usually allowed to stay anti-social. :|
