Re: Jury Duty Advice

To tell you the truth, my father has gotten out of jury duty by taking his bible with him and reading it openly. Usually one of the lawyers will object to his being selected during the voir dire but the last time he was called (several years ago), the judge refused him after the lawyers accepted him.

Of course, my father is a very religious fundamentalist Christian and extremely opinionated. I'm sure that has played no small part in his rejection by the judicial system. :)
