If you can reschedule, try very hard to get a week that has a Federal Holiday in it. The week between Christmas and New Year's is best; they let you out super early because no one really wants to work that week even if they're supposed to.

Maybe reschedule to around the time of Spring Break? The jury pool will be so glutted with people trying to squeeze in Jury Duty during vacation that you might never be called in at all.
