Re: most embarrassing thing that's happend to you at work

I was talking to a co-worker about a course of action I KNEW my boss would take (or not take since it's his lack of initiative about some things that drive me batshit crazy) and afterwards I went to him with the problem. He did exactly what I thought he would. So I went back to my desk and emailed my co-worker, telling her he did what I thought he'd do, which was nothing. And I said this problem was going to get worse. Only I'm so used to emailing my boss, that instead of emailing my co-worker, I accidently typed my boss' name and sent the stupid email to HIM.

I was horrified, tried to recall the email, managed to recall the email off his email account on his computer but totally forgot he also receives emails on his damned fucking company phone and I most definitely did NOT recall that copy. And how I found out I hadn't gotten away with it is he called me and said, "you know, I read your email."
