Don't give "helpful" advice on losing weight. Just don't. She already knows she's fat. Trust me, it is physically impossible to be overweight in this culture and not have some concern troll "helpfully" point it out to you.

Losing weight is not some easy fix, if it was easy (or even merely difficult) a lot of people would have done it. Only 5% of people ever manage significant and sustained weight loss, and most people just yo-yo diet their way into health problems and possibly eating disorders.
