I'm really excited about Durarara! x2, but when I see Kida with Saki I remember how much I hated Saki in the original for breaking up my OT3 at the end. She's the only character I ever hated in anything for getting in the way, and the fact that she was hardly a character at all made it worse. I'm super not looking forward to seeing her get a personality and screentime. Especially not if she's going to be someone I would have liked if she'd been introduced like that in the last series, instead of as this cardboard cutout we're supposed to believe one of the main characters cares so much about for some unexplained reason.

(I don't know how obvious it is, but I'm anime only. Don't know anything about the novels.)

Kida's childhood friend and Izaya's former minion. She only showed up in a couple brief scenes, where she was in the hospital because of something that might have been somewhat important to the plot. I don't even remember that much.

She was in the hospital for... broken legs?? IDEK. I think it was implied she was in the hospital because she was manipulating Kida into feeling sorry for her.

I also hate her and don't want to see more of her, not because of any shipping, but because I think she's a shitty person and a moron, and I don't want to have to waste time on her.

Hearing that she's a shitty person is a little comforting. At least I can justify hating her with something besides just shipping.

Her shittiness and stupidity is related tbh, though on my end I consider her that because anyone who supports Izaya is an ass in my book. Regardless of whether you like him or not tho, she was his follower and she willfully participated in the plan to screw over Kida even though she'd already developed feelings for him. She got in over her head and Izaya's thugs (or a rival gang's, I don't remember too well) broke her legs to get to Kida. She's in the hospital because of that incident but then stays months there to make Kida feel guilty.

Where are that girl's parents, anyways. Get her back in schoo, damn.

Her sudden involvement really put me off of the anime so bad. It was so asanine.
