Hm. I'd further divide it into "porn without plot" (short, just sex), "porn with porny plot" (plot, but only focusing on the sex/sexual part of a relationship) and then porn with an actual story that has nothing to do with the porn in the last category.

I think there are people who really enjoy the middle category.

If a plot revolves around sex but is a plot with character development and all that, then it counts as plot. I would say things like 50 shades of gray have "plot", of whatever quality you deem to give it.

If it's 20k words of "aliens took two of the characters away from all the rest, put them in a cage, and them do it repeatedly over a week with magic sex dust that made them completely OOC," I don't consider that plot, even porny plot. And yes, I've read fics like this.
