Re: How strongly connected do you feel to your gender?

I'm a woman (not trans), and I don't really "identify" as my gender. It's not an integral part of my identity, because I think people should be defined by a lot more than just gender/sex/whatever. I don't consider any of my traits inherent to my being born a woman, except perhaps subconscious societal influences and whatnot.

No, I don't identify as genderqueer or whatever. I rather just have strong beliefs that gender shouldn't matter, and I don't know what "being connected to my gender" even means because I don't think "man" or "woman" should really mean much at all, but rather we should just be people.
