I should try to start a new writing project. Instead I'm tempted to open up my firefox bookmarks and sort 'em out. woo, exciting.

I'm trying to push off starting the next fandom project I have in mind and restarting an original novel that was my big project last year. I screwed up and did the thing a lot of writers say to avoid - I got nervous and picky and upset with my writing so I tried to edit the story on the fly rather than just finish it and fix on another pass.

So I ended the year with about four unfinished drafts. :P I need to muster the nerve to kick it off fresh one more time and just go till it's done.

I guess I'm sort of the opposite of you. I'm amazing at finishing drafts but fixing them up never seems to happen. I'm working on changing that now. I'm about to start on my first second draft of a novel once I'm done figuring out all the changes I've decided to make.
