Agreed. Community colleges have a bad rep, but it depends on the college. One of my oldest friends teaches at one, and he's one of the most dedicated, fantastic teachers I know, super enthusiastic about his subject and his students.

It's a bit of snobbery, isn't it. People refuse to acknowledge that not everyone's suited to a four year college, so implying that a community college is a good bet is like an insult.
