These would totally be acceptable and popular opinions, except that it's 2015. For example:

Glenn Miller should be tried for the murder of big band music. That son of a bitch is to swing as Pat Boone is to rock.

Concrete Blonde is an underrated band and if you've only heard "Joey" you're missing out.

The ending of Twin Peaks was a fucking cop-out from a creator who didn't actually know where he was going when he started out.

Concrete Blonde is super underrated. I love Napolitano's vocals.

Gary Numan beat the shit out of Trent Reznor; he reworked the goth and electronic genres in a way and in a signature style only preceded by Kraftwerk.

I don't know how popular this is, but I do remember a lot of people complained how contrived the Rachel/Ross thing from Friends got. (And yet I'm not sure how many people thought that, as they went with it, unless the producers just didn't care how fans felt.)

Boy, are you right. It started feeling desperate, and that was one thing that show did not need more of.

Titanic is a wonderful movie and Leonardo DiCaprio is totally hot.

He is hot. He's just gotten hotter as he's gotten older.

Noooo, he's aged terribly. He had kind of boy-bandish looks, not my type, but I could see how he was attractive. But I don't think those kind of looks age well at all, after about 29 guys like that start looking like shit.

He can still play unattractive characters well, though, like the slave owner guy.

The Gone With the Wind Movie was a total mess compared to the book. And Ashley was just the worst casting ever.

Also, Vivien Leigh's accent was terrible, and has led generations of actors of all nationalities to believe that Southern accents sound like that. Clark Gable did brilliantly as Rhett, though.

I know I'm being That Guy, but the ending to Twin Peaks wasn't by any means what they originally intended to do-- it was the tv execs that forced their hand on revealing Laura Palmer's killer, so when they had to reveal mid-season, they were left scrambling for where the story should go. I don't blame them for it, though I admit I'm wary about where the new season is going to go with it.

Dave Sim isn't sexist, what are you idiots talking about! Sure he let his personal experiences leak into the story a bit, but hell, he's making arguments about god being female! Did any of you SJW's actually read the thing? Catch up! Wait till Cerebus' second half of Mother's and Daughters is finished at least! (Come on, what Misogynist would name something that?)

It's being storytimed from start to finish in /co/ over the last week. I'm reading the first part again and it's so good. Of course, we aren't to the second half yet... Oh Dave indeed.

Baseball should get rid of the DH. And go back to the old system of playoffs. I'll allow an East and a West division and a Championship Series for each league but that's it.

While I'd love to believe that DH meant Deathly Hallows and that baseball involved ghosts, the most powerful wand ever made, and an invisibility cloak, I don't think that's what you meant?

Another case of Network execs fucking over otherwise brilliant shows: Patrick McGoohan should have been allowed to keep The Prisoner at 7 episodes. They were the story he wanted to tell. Because he was forced to extend it the quality really dropped off and the ending... yeesh.
