It does bum me out how many of the regulars have more or less stopped coming. But I don't think there's anything to be done, peoples' lives just move on I guess.

For real, like I get that tumblr displaced a lot of you guys, but blaming everything you hate about fandom on tumblr/sjws just comes off as bitter. There's even been cases where something reasonable comes out from on of those sources and people are so quick to denouce it without even reading it.

I'm bitter. I'll totally admit it. I don't just sound bitter -- I *AM* bitter. But then given that bitter means "angry, hurt, or resentful because of one's bad experiences or a sense of unjust treatment" I don't think that's an unreasonable reaction.

stella_down's the biggest one who isn't around anymore, but i've noticed rubbertea, nursejoy, and sporkly as well.

Stella went away and came back recently. I suspect she's just busy with RL and will probably come around again.

Not sure about rubbertea or sporkly. Nursejoy I haven't seen in months and I think the trolls might have chased her off...but that's basically just speculation, I really don't know, myself. (It would have been more of an environment thing, I don't think I ever saw anyone be repetitively mean to her, but idk)

Yeah, nursejoy is dealing with general stuff. I don't think it was anything necessarily wrong with the community itself, just that she felt more productive without it.

Don't know about the others. Hope stella is just temporarily MIA.

Veth! :O I was just thinking of her the other day and somehow managed to not realize I haven't seen her in a long time.

Just because I have been out for several weeks due to lack of internet, I guess.

forgottenjester hasn't been around much lately, but I'm not sure she (?) counts as having left recently.

I can't think of any names atm (that have left recently) other than the ones already said, but I've noticed too; I miss them. (Then again, I miss a lot of people, like sootyowl and kyuusei and inkdust. We've lost a lot of people over the last year or two, but it happens.)

For me, it's just a scheduling conflict.

F!S is really only active for a few hours a day, and unfortunately those few hours are when I usually have to do something else and/or don't have Internet access.

Yeah, same - my participation has gone way down now that I work 3:00PM-11:30PM EST basically every weekday. :/

Well, for several weeks I simply didn't have internet access at all, but now that I do have it I still won't be here on time most days. Oh well. I'll still come when I can!

Same; I'm a night owl, so I'm often not getting around to reading F!S until 10pm PST or later. (It's currently 2am. This is not unusual) At that point, it's iffy if I get a reply.
