Can you see thestrals FS?

Do you mean have you watched someone die? Yeah, who over 25 hasn't? Can I see fictional winged horses, yeah, but only if I'm drunk enough.

I'm 25 and I haven't watched someone die...

Why do you assume most people have?

Most folks will have had to care for a dying relative by that point, or a family friend. Or just been present at an incident where someone has died.

that's...not really true. I know some people who have done that, but not many. and even if a lot of people have cared for a dying relative at some point, not all of those same people would actually be there as that relative dies. a lot of people end up passing away in their sleep without anyone really being around

I haven't actually seen someone die either, and I'm over 30. I have seen people on their deathbed, and I have seen dead bodies, but not the actual moment of death.

Same here.

Wait, what? I'm 25 and can't even imagine a situation where I could have feasibly had the opportunity to watch someone die. Not everyone gets to hold Grandma's hand as she is taken off life support, you know.

Hahaha no. I've seen people dying, but I've not seen someone actually die.

I haven't, and I'll never see 40 again. I suppose it helps that both sides of my family are fairly long-lived--those of my parents' generation are mostly 80+ and still kicking.

No... I've seen a few dead people, but not actually seen someone die.

No, thestrals aren't real.

I've never actually been in the room at the exact moment of someone's passing, but I've had lots of people close to me die. :/

Depends on whether recordings count. I've seen videos of people dying, but not actually seen it in real life.

If thestrals were real then yes, I could.

Can video clips shown by the media count? Because I will forever shudder and be pissed off that the news station didn't give me enough time to look away or change channel. *shudders*

This is so weird and creepy, to make witnessing death into some cutesy tee-hee fandom thing.

Sure. People dying is pretty much a solid chunk of my job.
