That's interesting. Still makes no sense to me though. There's a whole wide world of possibilities that may be both not problematic and dramatic. Plus there are plenty of things that are complained about on sj grounds that are really boring.

Well, I agree with you, but...

One thing that I often wonder about is how much of this comes down to basic personality traits. Like, I'm a person who is generally not a fan of conflict. There are definitely times when it's necessary, but to me, conflict is something that should be minimalized through reasonableness. But I know that there's people for whom it's almost totally the opposite, which I don't understand, but you have to acknowledge. And I honestly wonder how much of things like this can be reduced to personality differences like that one.
