(Anonymous) 2015-02-22 03:49 am (UTC)(link)lots of bureaucratic BS yada, yada) then you can apply for citizenship.Work-visa's are the easiest way to get over here but the difficult part about them is that the company you work for has to want to keep you on, which isn't impossible but it can be an issue. There are also visiting visas but I don't believe that they allow for citizenship applications

And even then, even if you had all the necessary qualifications and experience it's extremely unlikely you'd even get considered for a work visa without a firm job offer from a UK employer on the table, or unless you were already employed in the US and your company was transferring you to the UK.
