If another family member got them, they're not "your" cats. If you live with that person, tell them how you feel and ask them to keep the cats away from you. If they're a good owner, they'll listen to you. My family always kept our cats away from guests we knew didn't like them.

On the other hand, if you say they're yours because the family member gave the cats to you, then take them to a shelter.
