F!S Anon Meme (the ??th!)

Secrets, rants, opinions, anything you want to say about your fandom or a fandom or fandom in general, do it here! Anonymously, of course. Get it all off your chest.

Some ground rules:
1. Going anon is encouraged but not absolutely required (for those who struggle with captchas and stuff).
2. No autoplaying/autolooping embeds, or embeds that cover/stretch the screen.
3. No dropping personal info or IRL contact info, etc.

That's about it, though!

I'll be linking some general/general-fandom threads I see so people don't repost new threads with the same stuff. If you want me to link your thread up here, drop a link in the first comment!

I don't have any of her books on my shelf so I can't specifically quote them, but at one point while reading Joust, I distinctly remember thinking to myself that "This is the third time I have read this exact description of this exact thing, if she'd stop rehashing everything the story would move so much more quickly and she could fit the entire series into one book!" I started skipping pages whenever that subject (or any other one that had been previously covered) appeared, and I enjoyed the book a lot more.

I remember having very similar issues with the Black Gryphon, and then again when I started the White Gryphon, especially so with that book. I got so bored and frustrated with White Gryphon that I stopped reading it and I've never finished the series.

Ahah okay yeah I get what you mean, not a major fan of the Black Gryphon (or the Owlsight).

I think she has gotten better in her newer ones. She's not spot-on perfect yet, but the repetition has definately lessoned and I am much enjoying her newer books (compared to her 'golden oldies')!
