What kind of circles do you hang around? Most Winter Soldier metas I see are allegories for old wars, current drone programs, and other political events. If you're seeing too many things you don't like on your Tumblr dash and too few things you do, then you really need to trim your dash and find new blogs.

I loved Winter Soldier when I first saw it, but between seeing it in theaters and then getting to see it on DVD, I just got...kinda bludgeoned? I blocked tumblr stuff as best I could, but I'm not very good at unfollowing, and some of the people I followed don't use their tags. (Use your damn tags, people.) I've changed my mindset, and now when I see stuff I don't like over and over, I unfollow. But it was too late for Winter Soldier :/

Ah well. I'm sure in a year or so all the headcanons will wear off and I'll enjoy it just as much as I did before.
