I like to pretend he actually won for this movie. What a glorious piece of crap. I want a sequel, but it's gotta be like Babylon 5 budget.

Oh man, he was easily the most adorable of the Oscar winners this time around. :3

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 02:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Every article I've read has called Eddie "adorable" and it's such a weird but satisfying disconnect for me because people are paying attention to what the female winners actually said that's inspirational and it's usually the reverse, so I'm happy!

well the second piece is a better piece all together

also there's ways to make unattractive characters still appealing.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 09:12 pm (UTC)(link)
OT: He's totally fucking hot. 10/10 would bang.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 03:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I prefer when he's in drag.

He could do a musical set in space!

I would watch it.

I kind of enjoy him in depressing historical things too. Sorry?

I can't wait for the blu ray cover to say ACADEMY AWARD WINNER EDDIE REDMAYNE.

I honestly can't believe it's the same actor in some ways. I thought he was amazing as Hawking and even though I was rooting for Keaton, I admit Eddie was a good choice for the top accolades.

But man was he so gloriously bad as Balem or whatever the heck he's called. I had such an amazing time watching Jupiter Ascending. It's the best worst thing I've ever seen. Almost every line out of Eddie's mouth made the audience piss themselves laughing.

I bought tickets to the 3D version and usually I go into a stadium early to sit...and so the 2D version was playing and he was continually calling Jupiter his mother and bellowing I couldn't stop laughing.

Is it bad enough to be worth watching? I mean I saw the trailers and it looks so terrible, but my heart really wants to see it because I feel this potential for endless entertainment...

+10000000!!!

(Anonymous) 2015-03-01 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Sorry, he is so overrated. He should never have beaten out Keaton for the Oscar.

Not surprised to hear that his performance in this movie was laughable.

His character was laughable, his performance was perfect. I'm not surprised a lot of people mixed those up.

It would be cool if he was like Adrien Brody who won an Oscar and then proceeded to make some truly weird choices.

Image: Eddie Redmayne in fantasy clothes?

Text: Now that he's been Academy-affirmed to be a True Best Actor, I hope Eddie Redmayne starts taking zany fantasy roles full-time.

less gloomy historical fiction, more space vampires plox

he's so obscenely pretty in this movie. I haven't seen it and I've heard it's terrible, but he looks damn fine.

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 02:13 am (UTC)(link)
I'm hoping for the opposite, now that he's been recognized hopefully he'll take parts that don't compare to paint drying and only whisper dialogue.

Haven't seen the movie but..

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 07:24 am (UTC)(link)
Does this not look like the role he was born for???!!

Can someone please confirm this and make my perfectly casted villain dream come true?

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 02:52 pm (UTC)(link)
I didn't even know who he was but he was so adorable at the Oscars that I feel like he popped straight out of a Kyoani series.

I was all "Wow this kid is cute"

... I had no idea he's 33

(Anonymous) 2015-03-02 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
Glad to know he put his dick sucking lips to use because there's no other way he could've won an oscar otherwise
