There are many different kinds of anger.

I get angry when the bus to the campus parking lot is full and I have to catch the next one, for example. Is this "genuine anger?" Not unless you expect sunshine and rainbows forever.

I got angry when it turned out that I had a plagiarism issue in my class. But that wasn't particularly personal, was it?

I get angry when I read about something horrible that happened 100 years ago, but all the perpetrators and victims are dead and there's nothing I can do about it. Is that "genuine anger?"

You have to establish this with your friend. Are they flying into rages? Or are they just kind of pissed off?

NAYRT but the words full on makes me think they mean getting so angry you hit your rage limit, not like being annoyed the vending machine ate your dollar
